Our Hearts:
A Poem about Health Care
You have a heart
And so do I
If yours needs a triple bypass
Then who am I
to deny your need?
The only thing
that would cause me to do so
would be greed
To treat your heart
as less important than mine
Is a crime
But the realization that we are equal--
that is divine.
