Serpent’s Wisdom

Musical shaman incants an ancient memory with a pulsing
drum dilating consciousness. Spiraling voice weaves
primal images of humanity exploding into unified freedom, releasing
the leaden shackles that bind me to the physical
world of separation and stress. The ultimate limiter
cast out in a reverie of joy
bursting forth like a ripe plum from a swelling flower
offering juices of life and nourishment for my soul. I dance and spin
a woman like a serpent in hypnotic harmonization
soothed by the wisdom of the ages
channeled through a human man invoking the God/Goddess/Me
We become one song, one movement, one love--
Infinite motley of perfection like a rainbow through
a crystal song spanning the cosmos, disintegrating time into now.
